  • Low water intake is often the reason behind splitting nails, so it is essential to drink plenty of water regularly to maintain proper hydration levels.
  • People should use rubber gloves to protect their fingernails from dust and strong chemicals while cleaning dishes or other using household cleansers.
  • Keep your nails clean and dry so bacteria don’t collect, particularly if you wear synthetic nails.
  • Don’t use your nails for scrap off surfaces or opening boxes or lids of the containers. It not only affects the texture of the nails, but it also makes you look outrageous.
