Baseball is a kind of game, where strength, height and, muscle mass is more required than the playing skills. Obviously skills are needed, but strength, in this game, definitely has an edge.

Previous U.S. government officials led the, almost two year’s sovereign search into the use of performance-enhancing drugs (PEDs), like anabolic steroids, in baseball. This is synthetic version of male sex hormone called as ‘testosterone’ used to build muscles and stamina more rapidly than any other procedure.

The report, submitted twenty months after the complete investigation by Mitchell, who was appointed by Baseball Commissioner to examine steroids use in the game.

Issuing this report, players, some officials and ex-baseball commissioners were blamed for the propagation of steroids in the baseball game. It said that, all prominent teams of the league were using this drug and they were violating the federal law and game policy.

Baseball lovers were very anxiously waiting for the report, which highlighted the names of numbers of former and existing superstars of baseball.

In Hong Kong, one out of three of bisexual men should be infected with HIV by 2020 if prevention programs collapse, experts warned.

HIV is largely passed from man to man through sex, in Hong Kong. HIV infection in gay and bisexual men has dramatically increased since 2003.

The number has elevated from 50 to 112 in the period of 2003 to 2006, while new infections among heterosexuals remained within 110-116 each year.

“If all our actions fail, by 2020 we can have one-third infected in the community. Some of them may go on to infect women,” said Wong Ka-hing, Govt. Center for Health Protection.

Four percent, of gay and bisexual population is HIV-positive and three different strains of HIV are circulating in the local community.
