Thought the economic world crisis have affects all the walks of life but still there are some segments that are still not effected with this downturn.

Especially in the field of health, where people are losing their health insurances and diverting to the generic medication similarly a new study suggests a decrease in the cosmetic surgeries have decreased while overall non-surgical procedures are continue to evolve.

With respect to the available data of American Society of Plastic Surgeons (ASPS), rates of cosmetic procedures among some groups in the U.S. are rising, except the Caucasians in which has shown two percent reduction in the cosmetic surgical or non-surgical procedures.

In the 2007, the reported cases of cosmetic procedures were 11.7 million and eleven percent growth has been noticed in the year 2008. this increase in the time of worse economic condition shows that people are more  willing to undergo such procedures to keep up their appearances, that has become their instinct to some extend.

In this 18 percent growth, a vastly growing group of Hispanics was on the top among all the other groups.

It is the only ethnic group that has exhibited the maximum increase. “The number of people undergoing cosmetic procedures is on increase in the Hispanics group in the US and this growth is directly proportional to the increase in their population,” John Canady, the president of ASPS says.

A wide range of techniques and procedures have been introduced to the cosmetic science and in experts opinion it has the potential of continues growth. These procedures allow patients to maintain their aesthetic looks and feel younger for a long time.

Especially, women want to look younger and beautiful no matter whatever the circumstances. Over this experience people are ready to sacrifice their other recreation such as vocation, traveling etc, findings suggest.
